Based on our brainstorming exercise
and your pre-writing drafts,
Develop 2 paragraphs in
response to making “A Big Decision.” Your paragraphs should be double spaced and written in Times New Roman,
12pt Font. You must have a proper heading at the upper left hand corner of
the page.
A proper heading includes:
Your First and Last Name
My Name
The Class
The Date
Paragraphs should be between 10-12 lines
Each paragraph should have a topic sentence

sentence that tells the reader what you will be discussing within the paragraph
Provide the reader with concrete examples by using the
transitional phrase for example,

Re-Read your paragraphs before you print your work. Ask
yourself? Is this organized? Is it in chronological
order? Logical Order? Order of Occurrence?
Proofread your sentences for grammar and spelling. Try to begin with a subject. Use a period when
you complete a thought and try to be consistent with tense.
Print your assignment and bring it with you to class on Tuesday. We will have our first writing workshop on Tuesday!
